I think I’m slowly getting the hand of this papercrafting. I sabotaged a silk flower display for the flower, at some point Chris is going to notice things are disappearing and reappearing in my artwork!!
The background came from a travel magazine, the lady I had already cut out from another source. The lace was once again from my odds ‘n’ sods box, and the brooch was sabotaged taken from a topping of some description!

For this I cut strips of corrugated cardboard and stuck them back to back. I did the maze in sections, luckily I’ve got very small thin fingers, otherwise I think it would have driven me nuts! The base is covered with green felt. And rummaging in my odds ‘n’ sods box I found the green fluffy pom pom, hence the tree in the middle of the maze…amazing huh?!

This is taking my corrugated cardboard fetish to the extreme!

I’ve got a sneaking suspicion I’m developing a fetish for corrugated cardboard!
This time I wove strips of corrugated card with strips of fabric, straight away it said ’seaside’ to me, so I edged it with a piece of rough string to finish it off.

Well here’s my first attempt at something different! I’ve got a huge roll of lightweight corrugated paper which I used for the frame, no not the whole roll, just a few strips! The frame is actually graduated in size to give an appearance of depth.
The blue background is fabric and the heart I’ve had in my bits ‘n’ bobs for a while so it was nice to find a use for it!
The second picture shows a sideways on view to show how the frame is built up.
